Salesforce hub — tools and source repositories pages, sf-skills cross-check (2026-10-23)

Adds a generated tools page (CLI and plugins, libraries, AI and MCP tools, editors) and a source-repositories page, both checked live against npm and GitHub and cross-linked to every hub document that uses each tool. Also adds publish-time failures from Salesforce's own sf-skills library and records that the local DX MCP server ends on November 2, 2026.

Salesforce hub — tools and sources (2026-10-23)

Added

  • reference/overview/tools.md: 26 tools in four tables. Each row has an install command, the version checked on npm or GitHub, and links to the hub documents that use it.
  • reference/overview/source-repositories.md: 14 repositories, 11 of them pinned at the commits the documents cite.
  • raw/TOOLS.json, the registry behind both pages (schema cuppy-hub-tools/1, shared with the Azure and AWS hubs). work/tools/tools_registry.py checks it and renders the pages. It fails on a missing or newly deprecated package and on an unreachable repository.
  • reference/agentforce/agent-errors.md: publish-time failures from Salesforce's agentforce-generate skill, such as "Internal Error, try again later" when the agent user lacks the Einstein Agent licence. It also covers why validate can pass while publish fails, and why deploying a bundle doesn't update routing.
  • reference/agentforce/agent-script.md: employee agents omit access.
  • forcedotcom/sf-skills is pinned in raw/SOURCES.json.

Found

  • The local DX MCP server ends on 2026-11-02 (its README), but npm doesn't mark it deprecated.
  • sf-skills agrees with family 3 on access, else if and nested if, but still shows the rejected @session.sessionID source.
  • Code Analyzer v5 (@salesforce/plugin-code-analyzer) replaces v4 (@salesforce/sfdx-scanner), which was last published in April 2025.
