AWS hub — first release (2026-10-19)
What the first release of the AWS hub contains — eight service families, 120 documents, every error catalogue with a check per cause — what was verified and how, and what is known to be incomplete.

What's in it
120 documents: this note, HUB.md, _boot/START.md, 34 guides, 61 reference documents, 21 patterns and one example project, in eight families:
- Identity and access (IAM, STS, Identity Center, Organizations, KMS)
- Storage (S3)
- Compute (Lambda, ECS on Fargate, EC2)
- Networking (VPC, ELB, CloudFront, Route 53, ACM)
- Databases (DynamoDB, RDS, Secrets Manager)
- Infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK)
- Observability (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, OpenTelemetry)
- Messaging (SQS, SNS, EventBridge)
Every service has an error catalogue in its errors.md under reference/ (or inside its single reference document). Each cause in a catalogue has a Check: the call or observation that confirms that cause before you apply its fix.
How it was verified
- Every source was read on the date in the document's
provenance, and every document has arecheckblock. - Every
aws <service> <command> --flagin the hub was checked against the botocore 1.43.115 service models. - Every TypeScript block type-checks under
tsc --strict. The CDK snippets and the example project were synthesized with aws-cdk-lib 2.273.0.
Known gaps
- Statements the sources didn't confirm are marked UNVERIFIED inline.
- Adjustable quotas, prices and Region lists are deliberately never written. Documents name the call that reads the live value instead.
- All documents are
status: draftuntil the post-import checks pass. - Error and operation documents use
shape: markdownwith adoc_kindkey, not cuppy's structurederrorandoperationshapes.
